Victory Electric Community Health Fair
Every October, Victory Electric and many community partners host a community health fair for local citizens to receive free medical services and advice.
Victory Electric started the health fair in 2007 as a way to give back to the community. Since the first year, participation has more than quadrupled.
In 2015, more than 70 doctors and health care professionals performed 204 blood draws, 170 flu shots, 74 pap smears, 61 skin cancer screenings, 61 breast exams, 50 dental exams,149 blood pressure checks, 96 bone density scans, 40 hearing tests, and much more.
“The doctors and health care professionals are the heart and soul of this event and we wouldn’t have such success without the dedication and time of these individuals,” said Jerri Imgarten, Victory Electric manager of marketing and communications and the coordinator of the health fair. “We want to thank them and the 40 volunteers who donated their time to come help.”
The 2017 Victory Electric Community Health Fair will be held Saturday, September 30, from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Western State Bank Expo Center in Dodge City. If you are a doctor or health care professional, the application for participation will be available early summer 2017. No tiered marketing allowed.
