Goddard Selected as New Manager of Safety

Mikey GoddardVictory Electric is pleased to announce the selection of Mikey Goddard as the new Manager of Safety, effective July 27, 2016.

“I’m excited to start building a new safety culture for Victory Electric,” Goddard said. “I’ve worked as a lineman for 17 years, it’s a big change, but a good one.”

Victory Electric to Host Candidate Meet and Greet

Kansas electric cooperative members have the opportunity to meet this year’s Kansas legislative candidates as part of the national “Co-ops Vote” campaign at Victory Electric’s headquarters on Wednesday, July 6 at 10:30 a.m.

Victory Electric invites members to participate in the candidate meet and greet on July 6 beginning at 10:30 a.m.

The event is an event sponsored by Kansas Electric Cooperatives (KEC) as part of the Co-op Vote initiative. This is an opportunity to ask your legislative candidate questions and voice concerns you may have. 

Imgarten Wins National Spotlight on Excellence Communications Award

Jerri Imgarten, manager of marketing and communications at Victory Electric, recently accepted a Spotlight on Excellence award. Imgarten received the Award for "Best Graphic Design (Illustration)" for the design of the Victory Safety Notepads. 

Miller Completes Management Training Program

Ryan Miller, Victory Electric supervisor of operations, recently completed the Management Internship Program (MIP). Miller finished the program in March. 

Ackerman Earns Two IT Certifications

Victory Electric's supervisor of IT, Brad Ackerman, recently completed and earned two certifications. 

Take Control of Your Energy Consumption with MyMeter

Victory Electric is excited to announce a new tool designed to help our members learn more about your personal energy use, which will aide in energy conservation and savings on your electric bill. MyMeter is a web-based energy tracking service that provides daily energy use information and tools for greater control over your electric bills.

Victory Electric Scholarship Winners Announced

Ten local students whose families are served by The Victory Electric Cooperative Assn., Inc., have earned a $1,000 Lightner Community Spirit Scholarship. The scholarships are designed to recognize students who have demonstrated academic success as well as showing a commitment to bettering their community.

You're Invited: Community Easter Egg Hunt

Victory Electric is one of the sponsors of the Ladies Community Outreach Easter Egg Hunt. It will be Saturday, March 26 at 11 a.m. at the Soccer fields near the YMCA. There will be more than 6,000 candy-filled eggs and the event is FREE for kids.

Victory Electric Welcomes New Manager of IT

Victory Electric is pleased to announce the selection of Denzil McGill as the new Manager of IT, effective March 21, 2016.
