Victory Electric Member Forum
Victory Electric hosted a member forum July 21 at the Boot Hill Casino Resort & Conference Center. Victory CEO Shane Laws, Sunflower Electric Power Corp. Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of Power Supply and Generation Corey Linville, Dodge City Manager Nick Hernandez, Dodge City Vice-Mayor Michael Burns, and Ford County Commissioner Gary Thomas addressed a crowd of over 200. They presented information about the effects of data centers and other large loads on distribution cooperatives and rates, energy transmission and generation challenges, water use considerations, and the county commission's strategy for working with potential developers.
